I finished this the other night for my dad (and also posted it as part of my post in the father's day section)
I know june isn't usually scarf season, but my parents are going to Ireland this coming November, so he will need it eventually!! Smiley 
I absolutely love the way this stitch came out, its even more 3D in person!  the stitch pattern came from my Crochet Stitch Bible and the border is 2 rows around in sc.

That scarf is beautiful, I will have to try that stitch. I am sooooooooo jealous about the whole Ireland thing, I hope they have a wonderful time, I would love to go there.

thanks guys!!! i'm jealous of them going to ireland too!!!  i've only ever been to dublin, and that was only for two days.  someday i'll go back!
i used patons merino wool in heather grey.  i used up 2 skeins (well, more like 1 1/2 Smiley)
