Great site, but they are a bit expensive.  I love the record cuff bracelet under they're recycled items.  And the circuitboard lamp idea.  *grin*

I think the point of posting that was to get inspiration.

Smiley  Your right!  This website is a great place to get ideas.  I'm looking through it and recognizing things that I know I have in my garage right now!  Thank you.

I definitely scooped up a couple great ideas I'm going to get started on. Thanks so much for the link!!! I was looking for stuff like this online because I had a complete craft revelation I couple of weeks ago about making crafts from mainly recycled items and only using comercial goods as necessary - like tape, glue, paints, metals, sealants, etc. Since then I have seen art in every object and it's almost as intense as the realizations I had of the beauty surrounding me through photography. Again, thank you for the link and the inspiration!

heh heh heh... anyone here besides me old enough to remember those "bottle cutters"?  I'm gonna get one and make some of those glasses for my ML (My Love). He's  BIG into recycling, environmentalism and he'd love that I did something like this for him.  I already have the Etch Bath, need to make stencils now  Smiley

Great site for inspiration (but not buying!) - did you see the flip flop mat???  My daughter goes through a ton of flip-flops and summer is upon us!!     http://www.uncommongoods.com/item/item.jsp?source=family&itemId=13069

Check the "collections" "recycled" area.....

My husband is a self-taught electronics genius! LOL  OK with that said, he bought me a "computer bug" that is made out of a circut board chip (not a computer chip though).  It has a red tail and 2 googly eyes.  It even came with instructions on how to care for it.  I will try to get a picture of it and post it. It would be a really cute idea for anyone with left over chips.
