I'm just so appreciative that you posted this. Have wanted to do something like that for awhile but have been scared silly by the buttons: even though it's not sewing buttons and button holes, feels like something's trickier to sew even if it has existing buttons with button holes on it.

Yup, we're all scared of something.

But now if I get in a shirt modifying mood I'll get to it with more confidence... AND your tutorial in front of me Smiley

My friend and I were making a simple dress over the weekend (from a rough picture diagram and a t-shirt for the proportions) and have been struggling with the underarm and sleeve area ....
Hopefully your tutorial will set things right!
