I had some extra sleeves lying around from felted thrift store sweaters that were used in other projects. There was a long sleeve that I sewed up to be a bit thinner, stuffed, and needle felted designs onto it, and  a shorter sleeve that I stuffed and gave eyestalks. The long sleeve was rolled up and sewn into a snail shell, then attached to the second sleeve:

That is the best hand-made snail I ever did see!  Grin
It's something I'd buy in a second!

that is awesome i agree with wildfyre and hersweetness snails are lovely lil creatures, i've been wanting to make a snail for ages now i REALLY have to make one! great idea using thrfted sweater and needle felting  Grin
