I'm still amazed at the quickness.  Singpost has done a good job!  Its taken the parcel half way around the world in 3 working days - it wasn't even 4 working days as I posted late in the evening on friday.

sometimes the postal service works!!!  Grin

It makes up slightly for the package I sent that went missing in another swap   Undecided  it felt even worse because it was my first ever swap

i recieved the most wonderful bracelet and earings from laughing lark yesterday, my mother LOVES them, and since im not normally one for stars, even though theyre my school mascot, my mom has officially claimed the bracelet and earings, which is fine because even though i adore them, theyre totally right up her alley! so theyre going to be a christmas gift for my mom, along with some stuff from knitting_nyxxie and a pair of slouchy socks in a lavender wool from sock wars. here are the bracelet and earings.

I received a "floating" necklace from flora yesterday  Smiley  My picture is a bit lacking, but there are large clear stone chips, and very tiny green stone chips in between them. It has a nice soft look to it.

It came at a great time, as I am recovering from the flu.  It was wonderful yesterday to check the mail and find this waiting for me.  Thank you!  You made my day  Cheesy

Canada Post had kacarrol in a panic this morning when Xpresspost and I disagreed about me having received my package. Fortunately it was in the right building, just not in the right mailbox! But I got my tree of life pendant in the end:

Isn't it so beautiful? Kacarrol is super talented! I'm going to wear my lovely new pendant out today and make all my friends as green with envy as these beads!

And I believe simplyfussfree has received the hat I knitted her using an online pattern:

Hurray! Swapping is fun. And deliciously addictive.

yamwam, what kind of yarn did you use for that hat? It looks so snuggly!

It was Alafoss Lopi in White. It's chunky so it knits up really fast. It's warm and pretty soft.
