'Twas a dark and stormy night
When my idea bulb shone so bright
Bananas? I cursed
I cannot, I will not!
But my mind had other plans
Bananas R Gud, is clamored
Just wait and see
Follow this recipe, and then thank me

So, I was bored. We had a lot of bananas and I said 'Why not?'. Its good. I swear. Grin

1 medium banana
3 tbs. butter
3tbs OR 1/4 cup (depends on who you are)  brown sugar
pinch of cinnamon
TEENY TINY drop of vanilla
2 cookies/1 cracker Vanilla wafers/ghram crackers

-Put skillet on stove, heat over med heat.
-Add butter, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.
-Let get warm, slightly sizziling and dissolved.
-Add in sliced banana.
-Crush cookies/crackers. Do it now, it is important. Things will move fast from here on out.
-spred bananas out into a single layer and turn to high heat. DO NOT LEAVE!!!
-Wait until you smell nutty, yummyness (until they are dark brown)
-turn to other side
-wait until they are dark brown. you want to smell it burn.
-as soon as you smell the "I'm BURNING!!" smell, TAKE OFF THE HEAT
-add cookies/crackers and stir
-pour into a bowl and enjoy

I like it. You should try it because it is good. Tell me if you like it.  Cheesy

That's pretty much how you make Bananas Foster, with some minor adjustments and no crackers.

Cooked bananas are soooo good. Another way to get the same flavor excitement is to just warm some caramel or butterscotch syrup/topping in the microwave with cinnamon (rum, too, for us big kids). slice the banana in thickish slices and saute in butter/cinnamon until heated and pour the sauce on top. Or, just do the whole thing in the microwave - it's good no matter what way you do it.
