I already posted in the original thread, but here's what I've gotten so far.  Iko made me two other skirts that she sent to my college address, but now I'm home and won't be able to get them until after Thanksgiving!  I really want to see the other stuff!

This is a cute little pillow she gave me (the V is my first initial):

And this is the skirt (the blouse is BTSSB, and is my own):

Despite the happy face, I'm actually freaking out.  I sent my package last week with the U.S. Postal Service (which didn't offer tracking, but is the closest to my school).  I still don't know if Iko has recieved it, because sometimes she gets very busy and doesn't have the time to answer emails.  I just hope it didn't get lost.  If it did, I'll gladly craft her some new stuff, but I did work hard on my first package.  *Freaks out*

Alrighty, I heard from lolitaneko, and so here are the pics! Smiley

The whole thing as laid on the bed (please ignore the setting, it is not my place anyway LOL, my ex very kindly took pics for me)

The hoodie on the bed

and on me LOL

Detail of the trim (I later added a bow in the same trim to the left side)

And the zipper, which I just barely managed to make work after screwing it up LOL!!

I was very happy to hear from her that the skirt had the right amount of "poof", I was a bit worried, especially because this is the first skirt I have made (Ever!) *and* the first thing ever made by me on a sewing machine! The hoodie has inspired a whole hoodie-themed Christmas giving extravaganza  Cheesy

I will also be sending belatedly some crocheted chokers I've been working on. In the meantime I stuck in a cute desk organizer I found (painted dark red and gold) with some chocolate mousse pocky. Smiley

I received my package from lolitaneko last Thursday - perfect timing, *just* in time to wear for my birthday (Friday)! I got tons of comments, at work, on my commute and when I went out for the night. Cheesy (The kiwi gummy candies included did not make it that long LOL!) It took me this long to post due to my crappy home internet non-connection Angry

(Wearing my lovely goodies out Friday meant I had to throw together a makeshift petticoat out of insuffient amounts of an inadequate material LOL so if the shape of the skirt looks a tad off, that is why!)

The blouse btw, which you can barely see at all since the camera was giving me major difficulties (I am *so* pale, taking a proper picture is rather difficult sometimes!) is one I've had for years, it has ribbons and lace at the front and is actually an off-white color. The skirt color is a very nice dark red, it also came out a bit strange in the pics lol. Since my camera was acting so weird, I have two color versions - a yellowish pic and a blueish pic. Somewhere inbetween those is the actual color!

Did I mention the pearls on the skirt are individually handsewn??!!?

Back view - note the matching hairbow. Smiley

I love it all!!! This was such a great first swap.

That is a cute color on you!!  I love seeing other colors used in EGL.

Gothmom said I could go ahead and post pics of the stuff I sent her, but I won't be able to post them until I return back home next week.  So, you'll have to wait a bit longer.  Wink  BTW, has kairi been changing the swap status to 'completed' because mine is still "in progress".

I'm sooo glad you like it, gingembre!  I'm so in love with that skirt.. when I held it up against me in the mirror after making it to see if it looked right I was all like '*o*  I made this?!'  XD  Its the best loli skirt I've made yet and I'm so glad you look good in it.  ^_^
And your hair is so long!  I could never get mine that long; I usually cut mine when it starts touching my neck. *lol*

(I'm going out to look for a top to go with what you made me.. if I get a decent outfit together and find a camera I might model it for ya'll!)

Gothmom asked me to post pictures of the stuff I sent her for her daughter.  However, I still want to see some action shots. Wink  I was back in the US and wasn't able to post these until now.

One of the things that she requested was armwarmers.  So, I made some frilly armwarmers for her!  On top there are two, thin lengths of elastic to give it a gathered look.  On the bottom is some frill.  Along the middle I attached a chain with a skull to add a bit of a goth touch.

The next item I made was another request; a skirt!  Seriously, who doesn't want a new skirt? Wink The picture doesn't do the skirt justice, but it is fantastic and fits like a dream.  I put 2 pieces of elastic in to make the waistband a little thicker.  Along the sides of the front panel I added D rings.  D rings are so fun because you can do a lot with them.  As an example, I attached some chain.  It drapes well with a petticoat.

Lastly, I added a bunch of sweets.  I went for the cutesy (but still yum!) stuff.  I also included a sheet of nail stickers with crowns and crosses.

If you have any questions about the stuff I made, just ask!

Awesome stuff! I recieved my package! HOHMYGOSH. Everything is so GORGEOUS. Thank you so much Gothmom!!

Okay, so, my ultimate wish was something wa-lolita related. And, I recieved this:

The outfit had a top, skirt, a matching hairbow and a wooden fan with some pretty gold ribbon that is on the hairbow and trims the skirt as well. Another reason I love it so much is that besides it fitting so well, my mother said all the gold matches my skin tone very well and makes me look pretty in it.  Grin I felt wonderful! So, now I have something to wear to a meetup! Thanks again gothmom!

This package has now inspired me to start on my own loli wardrobe! My envisioned projects: a sailor loli outfit and a kodona outfit.

And I hope your package is on its way, mistresscandance! ^^

Iko
Gingembre

I did not update any feedback information for the following people as there is no evidence in the gallery that their packages were rec'd:

if your partner is one of these above people, please go post in the gallery that you rec'd and also PM your ORGANIZER and let her know that you did indeed receive from "so and so"!

Here is the updated list of participants
If you are in red your partner needs to post that they received or you need to prove that you sent. Do it publicly in here or in the main thread

Iko wrote in the other thread (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=118721.120) that she recieved from me, but hasn't posted pictures.  I haven't heard from her lately ( I sent her a second package two or three weeks ago) but  I know that sometimes she gets really busy and doesn't have time to get online.  I just want to make sure that I get positive feedback because I did send, my partner did recieve and posted that she did, and I did not flake.

Yeah, I am pretty disappointed with how the swap ended up.  Especially since everyone was pretty gun-ho about it in the beginning.

I haven't gotten my stuff yet, but I've been told it was sent.  When it comes, I'll be sure to take some pics.

Yeah... no offense to kairichan (who sent me the most wonderful swap package), but I think the swap would have been a bit more successful with an organizer that was able to be involved more. Nobody could do anything about flakers, but she seems to have just poofed and left all of us hanging...

Yeah... I just checked her profile page and apparently her most recent swap she "Completed some wishes, then disappeared no communication, didn't send, had to get an angel". It's weird too because she completed 12 other swaps...maybe something happened in her life? Anyway, I just wish there were some more pictures in the gallery!

I am so very sorry, I hope you all dont hate me!!!!!  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry

I tried to PM Kairichan but:

Unable to find member 'kairichan'.

Is she gone? My profile still says In Progress. I was in two swaps with Kairichan as my organizer, and a swap partner that refused to talk to me. No offense to either, I'm sure they're nice people, but I just PMed and PMed and than gave up. Wondering what I should do now. I don't want to be labeled a flaker, I wasn't in this swap to get but to send! And I like swaps because you can get to know people, and the things you get mean something, but I didn't even talk to my person. They switched us partners, but my other partner disappeared as well T-T;...if there are any moderators that can guide this amateur and naive swapper by the hand, I wouldn't be hesitant. I've joined the new Panda Bear swap and I'm really into it as I'm sure my partner is ^^;

Well, technically, you need a partner for these swaps, from what I understand. You didn't flake, from what I understand, flake. You need someone to angel for you. PM the moderator who took over the swap for us, taloola, I think it was. Maybe she can help you. She should find you an angel. And she can also help correct your feedback. Did you send for the swap before this one?

I'm sorry!! I didn't even know that this existed. I got my package from eternal_ukyou, but I don't know if she got mine. My camera has also been MIA for MONTHS, so I couldn't get any good pictures... I really enjoyed the items though, I got a pair of gloves that unfortunately came apart on the sender's way to the post office and she didn't have time to fix them, which I completely understand... also recieved a hat and scarf (THANK YOU. I needed that scarf soooo badly, definately my most-used item) and petticoat... the petticoat is rather well-constructed but the shape it leaves doesn't fit my personal tastes.

eternal_ukyou, did you recieve my items? I saw no post about it...
