This was my first try at cables.  Is this how they are supposed to look?  I guess I thought that they would be more deffined.  Maybe it's the yarn I used.  (two strands together)  Maybe thinner yarn?  Through looking around on the net, I realized what I did wrong with the cables.  Here is a link I found with how they should look.

I'm not sure if that is how they are supposed to be, but whether it is or not, I think they look awesome! I love the two colors together - great job! What brand of yarn did you use?

Thanks!  No, I didn't use a pattern.  I looked up how to do a cable and then got to work.  Since I didn't use a pattern, the back got a little weird.  There is a spot in the very back where I couldn't fit another cable so it messed up the pattern, but still looks ok.  At least it was in the back.

Cutest baby ever!  And the hat looks really cute too - I like the color mix, even if the cabling is disguised a bit!

What a cute hat!

That is how the cables are supposed to look. I just think that they are not as defined because there are two different colors of yarn.

But, even if they aren't defined, it's really cute and Baby doesn't seem to mind it at all!
