Patience is not one of my virtues and I think I'd go mad if I'd have to work on a large cross-stitch project - therefore small NES/SNES sprites make perfect targets!

Celes from Final Fantasy 6 (known as Final Fantasy 3 in the US).

1-UP Mushroom from Super Mario.

Bubbleman from Megaman 2.

Heatman from Megaman 2.

Energy tank from Return to Silius.

8-bit video games are so fun to cross stitch because all the work turning the design into squares is already done...  Smiley

I absolutely agree! The pattern has already been made for you by the pixels and you have a finished piece of work in no time. And they make great gifts! I love your Celes by the way, FF3 is one of the coolest SNES games!

Thanks, all!

castorella: Nice work Smiley And yes, FF6 (known as FF3 in the US) rocks - one of my all-time favourite games, actually.

I love the one up mushroom. I'm working on a Mario sprite at the minute, he's tiny but it's taking ages. I'd never have the patience for something big either.
