lusterbunny - THAT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! believe me, if i could afford to shell out $100, I would!  But I am trying to think of ways to start an etsy so I can make money before I spend it.  In the mean time, i'll have to be satisfied with it wisted on my list.

But if you're *ever* interested in a swap... I'm not too shabby with my sewing machine!

Congrats Lusterbunny! That is so cool! I went to Yale in the architecture program and one of the profs loved to tell the story of Maya Lin asking one of her teachers for input on her design for "the Wall" Vietnam memorial. He got all up tight about it because he was submitting a design too along with a bunch of other profs. Well, she went on to win the competition. So you never know...

I finally made a sale in 2007!  Only took nearly 3 full months.  And this was a custom order that the buyer originally contacted me about back in Dec.

I was too busy making xmas gifts back then, and the fact that I haven't had a sale since Oct before today hasn't kept me in a very crafty mood.  Hence the fact that I haven't listed anything since Nov.  The evil, self-perpetuating cycle: I haven't sold anything because I haven't listed anything.  I haven't listed anything because I haven't made anything.  I haven't made anything because I haven't sold anything.

I still like to follow along this thread, though.  I keep hoping maybe some motivation from you all will jump out and get me moving . . .

rrb21- those are seriously awesome.

Go for generic colors....red, blue, green, maybe even a purple. Variety is the spice of life. lol

rrb21- such a cool idea!  I would definitely go for the main generic colours as well.  Maybe you could offer a custom option if someone wants another colour?
