I got a bunch of new tsumami kanzashi flower snap sets listed this week! I'm super excited because my samples are going out this month with The Sampler! The first set I listed sold within an hour! The newest 3 haven't gone that quick, but I'm still super proud!

I'd really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions!

I'm hoping to get to 100 items by April, I'm at 40, so wish me luck.  Does anyone know if you can sell books in your store?

Thanks so much! I just made another sale last night! To the wonderful Enamor!

They snap on and off, and I'm working on a bunch of new items to snap them onto. My most favorite so far is the cashmere ribbon wristlets, though!  Grin

I really want to snag a Showcase spot on Etsy this time around, I've missed them the last couple times they went on sale. *Crosses fingers*

I had to have the pin. The flower reminded me of spring and it will look great on my spring jacket  Smiley

I hope you generate some sales from the sampler. I enjoy contributing and it gets a lot of traffic to your site. I'm hoping to be back for the may issue.

Okay, I'm a total Nube! Grin so I have some questions on vocabulary and stuff: 1) What's a wist? 2) How do you get involved in a sampler and what is it exactly? 3) If I make 1 particular product is it worth it to sell on Etsy or should I just try to sell locally, or am I being a complete idiot and should just do both anyway? 4) Does crafting make you guys all so nice or did you just come that way? Thx for the help!

1) A wist is a "wishlist" of online items/favorites that other people can link to or shop for you with/craft for you. www.wists.com You have to have an email address to sign up. Once you start adding things you like, its gets addicting real fast!

2) The sampler is an online indie craft distribution company which is free. You can sign up to contribute a minimum amount of 25 items or as many as 200! (samples) that you crafted along with your shop information as biz cards, etc. Each month there are new contributers. In return for "donating" your crafty items, you get a package of other peoples samples for the month you contributed. Also, your things can get sent out to other crafty businesses, magazines, websites, and other people around the world. There is a LOT more info at their website, www.homeofthesample r.com

3) You never know how an item will sell online until you try! I think it would be best to sell online and offline...that way if the online doesn't work out how you wanted, you always have offline to fall back on (and vice versa). The only potential downfall of selling online is that you have to promote yourself as much as possible to get noticed. The web is a vast place! But Etsy is a nice place to start and is easy for a new seller to get into.

4) We just come this way  Grin
Seriously, we're here to help. There are no stupid questions!
