And BeaG--I have a flat screen and the colors are showing more to the grey and lilac side, but like everyone has said, as long as their is some mention of the color, I don't think you'll have a problem.  And if I received an item a couple of shades off from what I expected, I would just chalk it up to monitor inconsistencies.  But I understand your frustration...

BeaG--My LCD monitor does show the colors as lighter, and a quick check of my CRT monitor on the desktop I share with TheBoy does show somewhat richer colors. That said, don't kill yourself trying to make your photo match colors on your computer. You can look at the same photo on two identical, similarly calibrated computer monitors and they'll still look different. You might [if you don't already] add a disclaimer to your listings that say that you've done the best you can to present an accurate representation of the color, but that your monitor may vary. That's how online yarn stores tend to handle it.

BeaG, i have a newer flat screen and i see army green. i'm not too sure what lilac is, but the second one looks more purple to me than dark purple. i do agree with everyone else that people should expect to appear different on different monitors and that if you are worried a dislaimer of sorts should cover it. in any case, the colors i see look very pretty.

BeaG, I cannot look at the pictures you posted because I keep getting stupid Internal Error BS when I try to look at etsy....HOWEVER...e very item I have ordered from you has looked exactly like the photo in color. But then again, I am using an old monitor too.

boo, I'm gettin' the internal error also craft_t....I haven't been around this thread for awhile, but I did want to chime in that yes, the etsy thread thing the other day was a bit odd.

Not many sales for me lately, but I was away on vacation, and hopefully I'll get myself back in gear soon.
