I've had quite a few anonymous hearts...i like to see who hearts me...I'm not sure why people do that..its kinda strange.

nessa

I wasn't even aware that it was possible to do this. I have never noticed an option when I have hearted others Hmmmmm going to have to check more closely next time.

Also: I got an email back from etsy support saying the thought they could get the icky feedback removed for me.

Congrats to you on that. The buyer was being totally unreasonable.

BeaG - your stuff is clearly of such better quality that I definitely don't think you need to worry.  And your creativity is rewarded with publicity and recognition; I wouldn't waste a word on them, at all.  Wink

Serendipity - You can't choose to heart individuals on a private/public basis, but you can choose to keep the entirety of your favorites list private, such that those question mark anonymous hearts will be what everyone you've hearted will see, and others can't access your list.

*underpricing* is a tricky one, isn't it?  We don't want to overcharge, but don't want to undervalue our time. Consistently (in forums, etc) I have heard over and over from people that they don't buy items that are underpriced because they are suspicious of them.  I completely agree with meshell - I don't support the use of exploited labor in other countries for the purpose of making cheap goods, I won't support the exploitation of ME either  Smiley.  I won't make one-of-a-kind, handmade items with all the photographing, uploading, listing, etc time as well, and pay myself less than I would earn working at Macdonald's.  It doesn't make sense.  I've been upping my prices bit by bit and haven't noticed any loss of sales whatsoever.  People will value things if you do.

Gotcha ... so it's an all or nothing thing. Thanks for clearing that up Smiley

What do you think? If you look at my sold items and look at the first item sold you'll see what the photos used to look like...

I missed my 666 because someone bought two items when I was 665 so it went straight to 667. And yes, I am so lame I -noticed- that! Grin
