I honestly don't think your pictures are bad at all.  You could use a white sheet and take pictures outdoors in non-direct sunlight, if you realllly want to work on them immediately.

Oh, thanks Sweets.  Cheesy  Now that I think of it, I probably wouldn't think they were that bad if I were looking at someone else's shop. I guess I'm just more of a perfectionist when it comes to my own.  Roll Eyes

I think we all agonize about photos. I know I do!  Smiley

The FSU market was OK, just OK. We had a lot of traffic and tons of people pick up cards with my shop address but only a few buyers. I think I'll do better in the next few weeks after financial aid is distributed.

I think your photos look great!  I would also just recommend going outside to take your photos - a good time is when it is bright but overcast outside - that way you get plenty of light without the shadows.  Just make sure you use a white background (or another plain color) as to not distract from the item itself.  I think they look good the way they are though!  Smiley

I've added a fifth size to my range of keychain lip balm holders:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=15020008
This holder is for the rectangle metal lip balm tins, with a sliding lid.
I've also added the option to, for a little extra money, get a clasp hook with your keychain lip balm holder, so you can attach it to for instance your purse.
What do you think, my friends?

My sales are slowly but surely building up again (after a rather drastic increase in prices and a shop closure of three weeks because of my stay in hospital and my first week of recovery).

I wish you all many sales!

Thanks, Pinky!
Great to see you again.
I bet your 'creepy jars' do well before Halloween.
