Been slow for me also. I plan on doing some work to increase my inventory before the holidays.
I don't think the postal increase will hurt to much, I figure would spend that much or more if they have to drive to the store. With gas prices being the way they are.

Postal increases haven't hurt our store at all, sales have actually increased! I think that's because we starting listing more stuff on Monday, so we've sold 7 items this week with two custom orders in the works.

I think it depends on each seller and the packages if the increases will hurt, because our packages are so lightweight we only had to raise prices 50 cents or less. Nothing terrible, but I can see how sellers with much larger and heavier items could have trouble with the prices. I wish them all well!

Well I almost hate to say it since everyone seems to be having a slow May (though maybe "slow" is subjective), but this has been my best month yet.  Maybe it helps (sales, not my wallet) that I have only changed about half of my shipping prices.

What has helped me?  I would say that participating in the buy and replace lists has helped, but only two of my seven sales have come from that.

I was also either listing or renewing almost daily until about a week ago.  But unfortunately life has caused my sewing to come to a screeching halt.  Actually, sewing has caused sewing to come to a screeching halt.  I've been making insane pirate costumes for the PotC:AWE opening next Thursday.  As of Tuesday I should be 100% complete, and I can start making headbands again.  And cuffs!  Oh do I want to make some cuffs!

Since my sales have been growing exponentially, I imagine that next month will be even better!  Maybe by Christmas people will rely on me for presents  Roll Eyes  It might be wishful thinking, but at this moment, I'm pretty darn proud of myself!

My shop has been terribly slow...so has mom's. I've only sold one item these past few weeks.

I plan on revamping my store and slowly phasing out a lot. I don't think my totes will ever have a home  Sad

Slow in Etsy and slowing down a bit on our own site as well  Huh

I started a thread today in the forums, hoping to promote our shop .... and a direct competitor posted her same type items, in the thread! I am not feeling threatened because I feel our products are better and perhaps I shouldn't have even been surprised but I would never have even thought to do such a thing.  Huh

I just introduced a new product: New Trend FIESTA Necklaces!

After a series of New Trend Necklaces:

I now made a series of New Trend Fiesta necklaces.
They are a little thinner and longer and they have bright summery colours:

These were also made by weaving trellisyarn over elastic thread.

I would love to know what you think of them!
And which one is your favorite colour combination?
Do you think they might sell?
