Whew, it's been a while since I posted any clothing recons.  Please excuse the pathetic photos, hopefully you get the idea  Smiley

First off, I took a ginormous boy's sweatshirt, and made it into a tanktop.  I added the pocket in the front, and black criss-cross straps, and took it all in.  I'm pretty happy with it:

And the second is a cute basic halter dress from a table cloth.  I drafted the pattern myself, but it's like a million other ones out there  Wink  Zipper at the back, lined bodice with blue cotton.  It's comfy and breezy (perfect for...winter??) No, i don't normally wear dresses with jeans...i was just lazy for the pic:

Shmanks for lookin!

Hey, thanks for the compliments, everybody.  Much appreciated  Smiley

i like the shirt but LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO VVVEE the dress! the fabric and the shape!!!!!!! ugh i wish i could 'draft pattersn myself' instead of having to buy pattrersn// not even bother trying cuz ii know im not that good {hint hint - tutorial maybe?? i would LOVE you! unless tehrse already a tutorial on craftster somewher???}

There's lots of good tutorials in the main list of tutorials at the start of this board, there's a ninja turtles halter, and at least one other.  They're not the same style as this one, but they're nice.  If I get some time, I promise to make a tute, but basically the dress is just a circle skirt (lots of tutes already on craftster), a band in the middle with a bit of a point at the centre front, and then two triangle-y shaped bodice pieces with long extenders that you leave to the very end and make the right length for your body by putting the dress on and then sewing the neck strap shut.  And a zipper put in, in standard style at the back. I know that's not a lot of help, but I'm in a bit of a rush  Wink
I'm glad you like the dress, it's a personal favorite of mine, too.

wow. the dress is fantastic.
I like how you went that little bit extra to line it, it gives it that extra touch. Me, I'm too lazy to bother hemming things properly, let alone line them!
