Plumtea, i have just cast on again to see what your problem was and i just got to the same point.

In row 17 it says knit 12, but what you could think of it as is knit 10 (the last knit row of your first triangle) and then knit the first two stitches of the next triangle.

It tells you to only repeat rows 2-17 so you miss out row 1 where it says "knit 2", because you already did it in row 17...is that a really confusing way of saying it? sorry...

you just keep going with Row 2, and it will be fine i promise you.

Here's my in-progress sort of Danica...

I used the instructions for entrelac by Eunny Jang in the Spring 07 IK. It's only 8 repeats, but it's an entrelac scarf so I figure it counts. I'm using RYC Cashsoft Aran. It's so soft and nice. I'm a poor college student and we splurged on this as a gift for my husband's guitar teacher, so it's really nice to use such awesome yarn.

After casting on again the other night i was bitten by the entrelac bug again so now someones getting a scarf for Christmas!

amyb444.. i like your colors and the fact that u are using 2 different colors rather than a self striping yarn. it has a dinamic look to it.. !!

while my dogs were home alone for ONLY 3 HOURS this weekend they pulled my Danica off the desk and used it for a blanket. They also chewed up the bamboo needles it was on, frogged it a little, and THOUROUGHLY kneaded the two yarn balls.

I didn't kill them. but now i'm not motivated to work on it cause it's a mess. I have a swap to work on so my Danica is on hold till I take some time to detangle the rat's nests that was my very lovely balls of wool.

Bad puppies... I'm glad you didn't kill them though.  I'm working on my 3rd Danica.  I can't help it.  I get so much satisfaction from this pattern.

I've just started my danica, and the entrelac is really feeling addictive (haven't even started repeating section 2, but still - I only started today, in between laundry and going out!)

I originally intended it for my boyfriend, and dyed the yarn myself... so the colors are a bit dull to my taste, but still turned out too colorful for my boyfriend..
I guess I'll end up giving it to dad, or Vildhavre ^^

My second one is growing okay now it was slow at first but its really fun to watch the shapes appear.
its Blue and white for an Everton fan. I'll post pics when i remember to take some!
