Horray I finished one!  I used 3 balls of Noro Silk Garden #206 and used size 8 needles.  It still needs to be blocked... but I LOVE the colors.  I'm about 4 inches from being done with my other Danica as well!

fukin haaaaawwt !

these are all so awesome! my bf's mother gifted me three skeins of some very pretty variegated yarn, and I already started Danica but she's at home so I'll have to wait to post progress.

I too hate picking up stitches, but I think the pattern lends itself to not having to have 'perfect' stitches in between the squares/triangles. especially after blocking.

Now, my story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" 'cause the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles

Scarf #2 complete!!  Now that I've finished this one I'm not sure which to keep for myself and which to give to my mum for her Birthday.. hmm..
Mr Kai Kai is modeling the scarf since his mum hasn't bathed in a couple days and isn't quite camera ready.
Sorry for all the pictures.. but.. everyone can appreciate an adorable pit bull in a pretty scarf!

He gets jealous when I dedicate hours making something instead of paying attention to him.. I think he appreciates it when I let him try them on.  He seriously prances about  Wink

So I have a ball of noro silk garden regular and 1/2 ball of noro silk garden lite left over... any ideas of what I could make with it?

Hey guys! I just finished my Danica this week (reading week is clearly for knitting!), and thought I'd share. Sorry the lighting isn't the best!

Here's how I like to wear it.

And here's a second shot to show length. This is a more accurate depiction of the colour, too.

It's definitely my favourite scarf. I may have to knit another sometime soon. Smiley

I jumped on the bandwagon here.. I had some SWS in Natural Earth coming to me in the mail, but when I was at Michaels the other day, I saw Natural Geranium and just *had* to have it.. so now Ill be making a Danica in each! I already started the Geranium one, and its gorgeous so far!
