Is that a self-striping yarn?
If it's not, that's a really neat effect!
Actually, even if it is, THAT'S AWESOME!

i'm not really sure if it's self-striping or not. but i'm making a hat with the same yarn right now and it doesn't look as nice as it did with the scarf

It's variegated - color changes every few stitches - as opposed to selfstriping where you get several rows of one color. With a self striping yarn you usually get a different color in every block, whereas with variegated you might be able to get half a row in one color. But I agree, the whole scarf would look great in the Wedgewood by itself; no need to change yarn every tier, just at the end of a skein.

Did anyone have trouble when they got to the very last section, section 4, which finishes up the very top?  It didn't seem the number of stitches worked out.  Like when you are supposed to ssk the last two stitches, I had 3 stitches left, not 2.   Shocked

I think I fudged this by picking up one more or one less stitch than it said, but it bugs me and I'm not sure if it looks ok.  Let me know if anyone figured out a way to make this last part look good.

I've started the danica scarf too. All of the scarves on this knitalong were wonderful inspiration to teach myself how to knit. And now my first official project is going to be this scarf. This is how far along I am so far.

And a macro picture of the scarf just for fun.

I think it looks mostly like everyone else's but if anyone sees that I'm making any kind of mistakes, or has any suggestions that would be wonderful. Smiley
