Hi everyone.
I'm about to move up to Whakatane, and was wondering if by any chance there was anyone who lived anywhere even remotely close to the bay of plenty? I know, I' pretty much dreaming, but it would be lovely to have visitors, or someone to visit as I fear it's going to be quite a lonely wee town as far as crafties go!
I will , hopefully, be doing the auckland and wellington craftwerks all next year so that'll be nice, but a litle craftie-friendly-ness in between would be wonderful. : )

Can't help you with any local contacts, sorry Rhiannon. But I've been reading your blog, and got your Toasty shop update, and thought I'd reply here to say good luck with the move!

You could try taking your little boy to the Playcentre, if there is one. I've met some lovely and very arty/crafty people that way, aside from it getting me out of the house and keeping the small person busy too!

Cheers,
Miriam
