I made a pincushion for the pincushion swap number 4 and I really wanted to show it off here as well.

weighted to ensure it stays upright, the basket holds your thimble.  The sleeves can be used as needle holders

(sorry about the colour but I wanted to try and show you the back a little more clearly)
You can use the bow to hold the threader and your scissors and the longer hair is also used for your needles.

Hope you like!

That is too cute! Did you use a pattern or was it all your own design?

I didn't use a pattern it was my own design.  BUT I have to admit that when I was young (many moons ago  Grin) that my mum had a magazine with a dolly pincushion it and I took my inspiration from there.

She is so cute.  I love the way she can hold all the sewing bits and pieces.  The thimble basket is adorable.

Very nice. What a great way to have your tools right where you need them and have something you don't feel you have to put away when you clean up.

That's freaking awesome! Beautiful work and very clever. This is something a boutique would sell. (sewing boutique?)
