Hurray for another hair stylist crafter!

woooooo hoooooooo! then you understand the long sleeve dilemma! the girls at the salon went nuts over the black one. i haven't worn the pink one yet because i might not be done with it. i've been thinking about adding another dart below the chest (like i did on the black one) and maybe a sash or something.

Melanie Rose, I don't think that you need another dart under the chest, it seems to hang right.  I think you'd get more oomph from some funky buttons, and a sash could be really cute!  whaddaya think?

i did end up adding the before mentioned darts, re-did the sleeves in a slightly shorter fashion and with better cuffs (i was sleepy when i made the first cuffs so they weren't very well done), and made a little tie to go around the middle. the tie isn't attached. i made it out of the extra sleeve material and just wrapped it around a few time, tying it in the back with a bow. i liked the shirt the first time, but now i think i love it. what do you guys think? improvement?

Sweetie, you're not stupid, check out this explanation: http://www.craftandfabriclinks.com/sewingbook/sewbk10.html, maybe it will help.  Otherwise, a basic dressmaking book will explain darts better.
