i recently bought a much diffrent sewing machine also with out a manual, i used this web site http://www.sewusa.com/Threading_Diagrams/Threading_Pages/ to find out how to thread it, it also showed me a few other things on the threading diagrams page for my sewing machine. so i would suggest looking there
Good luck
Jane

here is a link to how to thread the machine and they also sell pdf's of the manuals for 8.00
http://www.sewingonline.co.uk/instructions/singer6233/  here is the manual for the 6233 if you click through it shows how to thread the bobbin it looks similar to the 6230
