Hokay so..this is a completed project but more of a trial of an idea. That being the case I didn't stay super careful with stitches and the like.

Here is it. A one-strap triangle bag.


I forgot about an opening to insert the lower part of the strap so I just made do. I also wound up sewing the lining the wrong way and the seams show inside. doh!


Here is Pixie my duct tape double wearing the bag.


And here she is from the front with the strap coming across her chest. She's wearing a half-done shirt that after seeing this picture I realize I will so need a cami on under it.  Shocked

Once I work out the problems I had and try again, I'd be happy to put together a tute.  Grin

One of the things I wanted was a simple enough design that is wasn't a pain in the neck to make. I had two sort of failed attempts last night that were more rounded traditional backpack shapes.

thank! i forgot to add the dimensions. 14" at the tallest, 10" wide at the bottom. About 2" deep that is pinched in at the stap points.

very cute!!! I've been wanting to make a backpack diaper bag for a while. can't wait for the tutorial! what's up with that cool decorative stitch on the strap and around the zipper? is that something your sewing machine does?
