After seeing the post by umbrellamaker and seeing her tutorial ( http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=73781.0 ) I thought I'd give it a try since one of my friends asked me to make her a hat, mitten, and scarf set.
Here are the pictures:

I found that the top mitten part was a little big, so I folded it a bit and sealed it up with some fancy buttons. I really like the way they turned out!

Thank you umbrellamaker for your tutorial!

***UPDATE***: She loves them!! I'll try to get a picture of her in the whole set

great job! i had to laugh when i saw your pictures though because i have that EXACT same yarn and also made mittens out of it just over a month ago! if you click on my blog link in my signature you'll see pictures about halfway down the page - i guess that yarn just screams "mittens", non? Wink

I saw this yarn and though "this is PERFECT for my friend". she loves these colours and since they're all mixed together, even better!
I love the way it turns out all funky and mixed up..theres no set pattern to the way the colours fall
