This is the guitar with (TWEED!) pillowcase I've made for my boyfriend. He is an AWESOME guitarist and I loved the pattern... so here it is!

it looked slightly blank without the cord, so I freehanded that with a pencil and just embroidered with it!

This was my first sublime stitching project. what do you think?

Hey don't get discouraged! All the crafts I've learned (specifically embroidering and knitting) I have taught myself from scratch. Embroidering is super simple, and is relatively inexpensive to start!

You can order a sheet of patterns from WWW.sublimestitching.COM for 3 bucks, a pack of embroidery needles for $1 and something to stitch on for a couple bucks, plus embroidery thread in colors of your choice (super cheap! you can get a few colors for a dollar).
You could easily get started for under ten bucks and do a great project.

You just follow the lines... it's that simple! Smiley

This is AWESOME! I think I'm gonna do pillowcases for everyone for Christmas! My boyfriend and his brothers are all in a band - I'll do drums for him, and guitars for the others! Sweet!

You've inspired me!

My favorite thing is the blanket stitch you chose for around the amp it really works and is a nice way to incorporate this stitch which usually just gets used for borders.

The cord looks great - it brings the designs together really nicely.
