Definitely craft-itis!  I drool, too!  Lately over craftster. I've been on almost all day today... and yesterday! Roll Eyes

And just in case it matters to you, it's acrylic not wool. Wink  But it's still soft like the regular Simply Soft.

How did you make the camera cosy?  I want to make something like that, but I can't find a pattern, and I don't know how I would do it freehand.

Help?  Please?   Huh

Thanks!  Smiley

I didn't write anything down, but I hope I can help. First I chained a number slightly less than the width I wanted and crocheted down it in sc. Then instead of turning it around for a new row, I continued on the other side of the chain, so I would be working in the round. If that's confusing, just chain enough to fit around your camera and ss the last ch to the first and work in the round that way. The reason I did it the other way is because I hate seaming, and you don't have a hole to sew up. Wink

After the first round of sc, I started working in moss stitch, which you can see here. That's why mine doesn't really have the ridge-y look that simple sc can take on. When I was done with my length, I stopped working in the round, and started working back/forth in rows for half of my stitches to make the flap.

I really hope this helps! You can also search for cell phone cozies, ipod cozies, and similar to see what you like and change the size a bit if you're making a cozy for a camera. Wink
