okay, so this was just something i did last night, not my finished piece but I couldnt figure out the pattern so I just cut and stitched until it looked like this.



It's based on 1920s clothing, hence the handkerchief hem and low waist.

In my final peice, it'll be all one colour (cream) with a patterned trim (waist and top piece..)

What do you think??

I think its wonderful! Very simple but very effective! All u need is a little fring headband to shimmy in Smiley

haha cheers guys!! I'd love to do some beading on it, but it's supposed to be daywear.. (I'm not seeing it personally...) so beads and feathers are a no... shame! but perhaps when I've figured the pattern out I'll make 2, one for the project and one for evening wear, headband included Grin
