The time has come, the Walrus said,
To talk of many things:
Of shoesand shipsand sealing wax
Of cabbagesand kings
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.

When you offer my uncle coffee, he says "I like my coffee like I like my women: hot, black, and strong!"

ahah i have no life. i read through most of this thread. (again, i have no life)
so now i have my own input

here are some longer quotes, but i don't remember where i got them:
"When I die, I want to die like my grandfather--who died peacefully in his sleep. Not screaming like all the passengers in his car." -Author Unknown

"Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant? I'm halfway through my fish burger and I realize, Oh my God.... I could be eating a slow learner." -Lynda Montgomery

"Remember in elementary school, you were told that in case of fire you have to line up quietly in a single file line from smallest to tallest. What is the logic in that? What, do tall people burn slower?"
-Warren Hutcherson

and then a bunch of others:

Save the Earth, it's the only planet with Chocolate

Honk if you love boy bands - then drive into a tree.

I tried being normal once . . .I didn't like it.

and from googlism:
Heather is not the mole (omg does anybody else remember that show? i loved it!)

and for all Ranma 1/2 fans... or for people here who at least know what it is:

"If you don't give Akane back, you'll all die... from her terrible cooking!" - Ranma

this thread is great i have a bunch of ideas now for some really cool shirts!

"I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer".

"Don't panic."

"There's a knack to flying.  You throw yourself at the ground and miss."

"There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.  There is another which states that this has already happened."

"In the beginning the Universe was created.  This has made alot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move."

All quotes from Douglas Adams' books.  Now I really want to make a homage to Douglas Adams shirt with a picture of a towel on the front.  Cheesy

Another Douglas Adams, slightly edited to fit in a quote:
"Gravity was merely a discovery. They even keep it on at weekends. Someone was bound to notice sooner or later."

I refused to eat at Sea World's Mr. Orca's seafood buffet or whatever the restaurant there is called.

...and I was always the last to leave the class during fire drills...

I'm giggling from the "I like My Coffee..." phrases. My asshole husband (is that redundant?) says this when you ask him how he likes his coffee
Dark and bitter like my soul
