This is my very first post...trying to get pictures to work, so bear with me...I just started knitting 2 months ago, and this is my second cabling experiment.  The handles are wood, and I wrapped them with lion suede to make them cushy.

And this is my first knitted stuffed animal.  I think he turned out pretty well.

could you guys tell me what you think?

Awesome! Only two months, and you're already doing shaping on that stuffed animal! All it needs are some fun teeth...

It's nice to see new knitters come out of their comfort zone every once in a while. I myself have only been knitting religiously for 4 months or so, and it seems that everyone is amazed that a "new knitter" could make sweaters, socks, hats and purses- but the key is to branch out to a new project every time (from cables to lace to shaping to... who knows what!).

Not to say you need to branch out, because you're doing a great job! Hmm... what was my point? Oh well- that's what I get for staying up until the wee hours of the morning. Keep up the great work!
