So my best friend's birthday was this weekend and she loves eeyore and winnie the pooh. I had made a blanket for her 3 year old, and she made the mistake of telling me she wanted one too. I wish I could have gotten pictures but it's been raining here all weekend and I couldn't get the lighting right. Good thing I'm not a professional photographer! Anyways...

The front was a panel that I bought, and then used pink fleece for the back.

I hand quilted around all of the stars on the front with embroidery floss. Boy do my fingers hurt now!

Hope yall like it. I'm getting closer to actually making a real quilt, so this is all practice!

I love how you stitched around the stars!  Hopefully your fingers feel better soon!  : )  This is really cute!

That IS a real quilt. French quilts are all about the stitching, not putting tons of pieces together and they certainly are REAL quilts. They cost enough too. Don't sell yourself short! You did great!

Hey, I never noticed that you travelled back in time to show us your handy work. Nifty trick. How did you accomplish it? Can I try?
