Hi all!

Recently my hubby decided to get rid of some of his dress shirts, so I commandeered them to make myself some much needed work shirts.

Here is the first of a few dress shirt recons. Let me know what you think.

Before - Forgot to take a picture of the actual shirt but was the same size as this one.

Action shot - it really does look better than this, but hubby was laying down when he took this pic which = bad angle for me!

Thanks for looking!!   Grin

Thank you everyone for all of your great comments. I have been working on a tute as promised. There are a lot of steps to it, so be patient it is not too hard. And I apologize for the extremely long tute, this is my first one so let me know if you have any questions, comments, or problems with it. I compiled them onto a couple of "pages" so I would not be uploading a billion pics.

Here goes....

And here are some links for sewing in sleeves:

I would LOVE to see pics if anybody does this! Post em if you got em!!  Grin

wow- that is simply amazing recon girl! Is straight outta [name over priced hip clothing store]! Did you have a similar shirt to base yours off of, or do you just channel true greatness on a regular basis? So good!
