I will claim esmerelda for Canada! (I'll grab you some maple syrup... and perhaps some shrinky dinks as well)...

Phew. That took a minute (you may notice I'm wordy) Wink

1. Germany/German-speaking country: magazines/relatively easy-read books/poetry (I love Rilke!) in German, traditional Christmas stuff, stuff with German flags/classic
German stuff (for me, or for my Dad, who was born there)

2. Ireland Celtic things, stuff with Irish flags/classic Irish stuff, (my double citizenship for Canada/Ireland is in the mail but Ive never been there)!

3. Japan/China/East Asia (if youre not too close to the coast! Oh dear!) fruitsy stuff, traditional things, tea!

4. UK I have a rabid obsession with the Tower of London and I much enjoy hearing about the wives of Henry VIII (anything to satisfy that would be cool), maybe some Union Jack stuff, tea!

5. Mexico Mexican folk stuff! (day of the dead, loteria, and more! )

6. Other Asian areas! (Middle East, India, Thailand/Malaysia/Indonesia. Etc etc!)

7. Any other than my own.

Hi! Just to say, I love different places! (But I could only think of specifics for a few)

What Id like from any country: candy/food/chocolate we dont have here, magazines (crafty, arty, writing, and non-mainstream fashion), used books (fantasy, historical fiction, more!), local music, fabric, beads, touristy things, paper, ephemera (things like newspapers, etc in other languages especially languages with different alphabets! are an example), photos from your country/area, traditional things, or what your country is known best for/what is simply BEST in your country!

whoa, hang on!  mommiemed, psyche's list was up for grabs (you can only claim from the most recent list posted, then someone claims from you, etc).  So mommiemed, if you want to claim from psyche, you technically had first dibs, I think.  If not, then nifuu can go ahead with her claim for psyche.
Sorry to step on the organizers' toes, but these ongoing swaps can be a little confusing at first!

Hope this helps!

I think they're confusing anyway Smiley

Maybe esmerelda could post a small intro to ongoing swap rules/workings so things might go a bit smoother?

edit-
remembered she did put up a small info thing..
Maybe when the swapper gets approved we could send along the rules/workings of the swap

Hi guys,

No sweat, aeronberry, thanks for helping out, I can't be here all the time.... Roll Eyes(although I almost am)

mommiemed - hopefully you got my pm.  aeronberry is right, you can only claim the last person who posted their list, which should be psyche.  And you can only claim once at a time.  Do you want to claim psyche, or can nifuu claim her?  Please post here or let me know by pm.
