OK, I got to thinking and I was thinking that most of us have a lot to cart around.  Knitting, books, schoolwork, groceries, baby paraphanaila (wipes, binkies, etc.) , dead bodies, crocheting, warm clothing, bathing suits... the list goes on and on!  So, I was thinking, why not have a SuperTote swap?  What is a SuperTote, you ask?  A SuperTote is a big-ass bag that's gorgeous and has enough room/pockets/snaps/handles/anything to carry what you need.  Anyone want to?

This sounds like fun, but I'm not a "super sewer."  I've made reversable mini totes, regular sized totes, and a messanger bag for myself(my laptop George needed a safe home).  I've never done appliques, zippers, you know fancy stuff...  Just basic sewing...  I wouldn't want someone to be dissapointed with my Plain SuperTote...

i would totally be all over this. i think the beauty of it is that regardless of your sewing skills, pockets are pretty easy to put on. i wouldn't care if it had zippers or buttons or bells or whistles. just nice big, deep pockets!

Flaps, velcro, snaps, zippers... anything would be great on a SUPERTOTE!  Some people might even want open topped SuperTotes (I'm thinking of trademarking that, hehe!)

Um, probably sometime in the New Year, as I'm super busy before Christmas, and I don't want people to be busy during the holidays.  Maybe a week after Hannukah?  Around January 7?
