I didn't even check my gauge for this pattern. I don't have any size 9 needles so I used size 8. I just worked the increses and tried it on after the number of increases the pattern calls for, and it was a little small so i worked a few more rows of increases. The pattern is pretty forgiving that way.

I'm also knitting mine on size 8 (straight) needles, and I know my gauge isn't anywhere near correct, but I'm almost finished the body, (I'm doing my last 8 rows of garter stitch) and it fits pretty well so far.  Cool

That looks great. Did you use the original cast on amount or did you tweak it at all? I 'm still waiting to start this pattern and love to hear how everyone made theirs. Oh and what yarn did you use?

lets say you wanted to make a boobholder with 3/4 sleeves, and a front that had tie-able extensions instead of a button closure? i am a dolt at modifying patterns.

Wildcheddar, go to Lucia's site! She just made one with ties that it very similar to the boob holder. As far as 3/4 length, just keep knitting the sleeves untill they measure right for you.

She's really helpful, if you asked her how to, I am sure she would oblige.

Garr just when I thought I had it finally figured out.

I realized when trying my sweater on that I'm not exactly sure what it "fitting" would constitute. I'm at the part of the pattern where I decide when to seperate sleeves from body. In order to seperate, the "sleeve" part between the first two markers is supposed to come around the top of my shoulder and then meet? Should there be any "ease" which I think is kinda like knitters seem allowance right? Or am I just really confused???

Ok so basically I can't even get passed row 15. I can't distribute the increases evenly lol.
