eeee! I'm loving this pattern so far, I'm on the 21row part. OK so I'm actually wearing it right now to see where I'm at.

I know some of you wasn't so keen on the puffy sleeves but i tell you what I'm digging them, I adore them hahah.. sorry this is my first sweater-ish thing, so I'm a tad excited.

Will post piccies when I'm finished.

Sorry about the ramble.

hey guys Smiley

my name is Lara and I jsut started my boobieholder sweater. I'm trying to finish it in time to wear it this weekend at MD sheep & wool...

Anyway, thought I'd share some of the things I learned about this pattern so far...

- When the pattern says:

Repeat rows 2 and 3 6 times (you now have 13 total rows.)

It means, (going back a couple lines) Do Row 1. Then do 2 and 3 a total of 6 times, adding up to 13 total rows including row 1 and NOT including the 8 garter rows. Maybe you got this right off, but it confused the hell out of me Wink

- This line:

Repeat rows 2 and 3 for a total of  17 increase rows (34 rows total.)

Means that starting with row 21, you should do 2 & 3 over and over again until you have done 17 increase rows SINCE ROW 1. I originally thought she meant you should do an additional 34 rows after the first 20, but that would make the sweater ENTIRELY too big!!! Just continue until you have done a TOTAL of 17 increase rows since the beginning. Smiley

That's where I'm at now. I'm on the 21 body rounds and the rest seems pretty clear. Maybe I'll post pics when I'm done.

Hope this clears it up for some confused people though Smiley

Nevermore,
would you consider posting a quick tute on your modifications? Vague directions are fine, no need to go line by line.
OR, could you tell me if you picked up the stitches for the ties or just kept knitting where the actual boobholder got pointy.
I am totally in love with your longer, less stomach-attention attracting boobholder.

woo! Still weaving in ends, but mostly done!

Made with leftover Peace Fleece (so a little itchy, but fun color!) I ran out of yarn (yeah, 200 yards is not the same at 400 yards) so even though I used way fewer increases for the arms, and didn't do as many garter rows on the arms and along the bottom, I still have to stretch it a lot to fit it over my generous boobs. I love it though! So much fun!

Too lazy to do button holes, so I'm closing it with a brooch for now.

Row 21:  resume normal raglan increases

Does this mean I do the increases like on row 17? I am soo confused by this maybe my brain isn't working good!

And also dumb question. I have 4 stitch markers.. the sleeves are on the two edges right??? This is my very first thing like this!!!

I am loving all your boobholders!!! they look awesome!

Thanks all!~
