I've been trying to incorporate quilting into smaller projects, so i've been trying to work on at least two new things a week. This is a mini quilt, with a pocket on the back for a pillow. This is the first time i hand sewed the binding, and i'm in love with it. I wish i had hand sewed the binding on all of my big quilts instead of taking the easy way out. Oh well i'll know for next time. Anyways here are the pictures...

I used a charm pack from moda's cornucopia line, and coordinating fabrics for backing and binding!

That is so cute!  I like how you did the buttons on the back - makes it extra cute.

I haven't figured out binding yet.  It just seems so HARD to do!  So my quilts are cute, but no edges/bindings.  That makes me sad.

I think i may write up a little tutorial for how i did the binding, i've noticed there isn't one on the quilting board. The biding was really easy!

I have to confess I never looked for a tutorial - it intimidates me!  But it is cute!

It looks really great.  The way you did the quilting really makes the design.
