Awesome! Well done!
I was asking on here a while back about these, but it was about the ones that had a cool whip container that they doll sat on, and you put it on your dresser. The idea was you kept stuff in the container.
I think some people used to make toilet paper covers like that too.
Those are cute.

Great job!  I've made 2 bed dolls (but the skirts weren't quite that big and had more rows of ruffles) and I gave them both away.  Now I don't know if I have the patience to make another one so I guess I go without!

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

Those are beautiful!!   My aunt made me one when I was very young, maybe 5-7 years old, and it still sits on my dresser. She passed away 4 years ago but I am so glad she made me one when she could. I guess she made up her own pattern for them and then sold the finished dolls between $25-50 depending on how big they were.   And yes from what I understand all they are for is to make a bed "Fancy", if you will.   My aunt would crochet a little pocket on the bottom and put in a little music thing so when you push the bottom of the doll on a certain spot, it plays music similar to a jewelry box.
