I made this based on the Lady and Unicorn tapestries, yeah the poor lion gets left out even though he's in every one too. Sad  here are the originals if you're interested, they're actually weavings: http://orion.luc.edu/~avande1/unicorn.html
it's all hand embroidery. It's kinda fun to work on a color other than white.

This is really nice!! What are you using as a filler? I can see the chain stitches, but I can't make out what the figures are filled with? The whole thing is really beautiful - and I especially love the trees!!

I used the split stitch for the outline and what I call the fill stitch for the insides, it's just lots of short stitches next to each other in rows.
