In Spring of 07, another craft show will be held in my town (Chatham, Ontario). There were two indie-type booths at the show this fall, and my  booth partner and I were thinking it'd be neat to have an INDIE AISLE of crafts, to offset all the granny things.

Would anyone be interested in this? Chatham is an hour's drive from Windsor, Sarnia, and London. Three hours from Toronto. 1.5 hours from Detroit. We have several motels in town and a few hotels to stay at for probably about 60$ a night.. je ne sais pas, as I haven't rented a hotel here before!

Our table was 120$ (including tax) for two 8 foot tables on the corner of the aisle. We had good visibility. The show will be in the Spring, so I hope I'm giving everyone enough time to think about it. If you have any questions, please let me know!!

Thank you!

I doubt I'll be around in the summer, otherwise I'd be all over this.  There's also the annual ArtWalk in sarnia...not sure about the date for that, though.

I'd be in for this too, as I live in Cambridge, a town of few craft fairs. Anybody know what's happening with this?

Here is a post from the organizer of the upcoming fair: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177427.0

and this is gearing up for summer 2008....

"Ive been asked to spearhead a weekly artisan market in Chatham downtown....it will be on Saturday mornings. It would be an Etsy like place, NO imports or other bad things, all handmade, mostly local (I told them it would be hard to be 100% local cause its just a really lowkey area)..."
