For the most part, it has been lol. As for Fawkes, I believe I actually squeeled when I pulled him out of the box. Of course, the very next sound uttered was a severe scolding of my cat lol

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

i'm finally getting around to posting the package that i received from my partner, gettysburgfife.  here it tis:

i haven't yet got the photo hosting thing down, so if you can't see it:
--a large fuzzy gryffindor stocking
--a small fuzzy gryffindor lion
--a set of glass marble slytherin rune
--a mountain of hard candy
--REAL (fully licensed) acid pops!

the post office ate the package, and it arrived with a big gash down the front and possibly an item missing.  usps makes me sad/mad!
i hope they get a lump of coal in their non-hogwarts x-mas stocking.

Ok, here are the pictures of Trillians package to me!
this is a little knitted pouch-it is in grey and has blue ties and little star beads on the ends...
and this is what was inside!  all sorts of mystery candy! it smells delicious!
here is a ravenclaw holiday wreath...

this is a necklace that says Mrs.Weasley in script!
These are the beautiful jewels!  star earrings, necklace, and bracelet, and green earring/stitch markers, and more candy!
And here...the Beaubaton cape!  it is in ravenclaw colors, and made of awesome mohair!
Sorry the pictures are terrible, but my camera was running out of batteries, and I couldn't get more than one picture of each thing.  The camera kept turning off after each photo.
Anyway, this is an awesome package!

Oh, and I forgot to say that the Mrs. Weasley necklace and treats were inside of a cracker with a joke!

What do you call just married spiders?

Most definitely! She's about 19 months old, and the naughtiest of all my furry friends (she's grown up with 2 other cats and a giant German shepherd, so she has no fear!) - thankfully I taught her to play with her claws in, but unfortunately those manners don't extend to her wild 'playmates'. In fact, she's probably torturing a present for me right now *lol*

Hey, guys, not to be a pain in the ass, but some people don't wanna know the title of the book yet. But if you go to http://www.mugglenet.com/app/news/full_story/550 there are instructions on the front page to figure out what the title is. There's a really cool game on J.K Rowling's website that you can play to figure it out.

Sorry to sound stuffy. I'm just lookin' out for fellow HP fans. I found out on yahoo, but in the article they gave away the title and then were like OH HERE'S A COOL FUN GAME TO FIGURE IT OUT. *headdesk*

EDIT: well mugglenet has now decided that it's a jerk and is giving away the title now. Haha, not really a jerk, but I think they figured everyone kind of knows by now. Oh well. I changed the link so it goes to the actual news article and not to the front page, if anyone DOESN'T know and wants to play the little game Smiley

Happiness can be found in the darkest of times...if one only remembers to turn on the lights.

You can lead a heart to love, but you can't make it fall.
