Personally, I am looking forward to the HP Party that they have when the book comes out. I am dragging my friend Rochelle with me wether she likes it or not, and am going to make myself a tee and have a good time! I dont really mind if im paying more for it, I like the whole atmosphere!

I usually pre-prder in my local bookshop and you get a ticket so you can get it on the day.. or at the release party. but the release party is usually full of 7-9year olds, so this year I'm going to Dublin and queueinh outside Eason's or check out what other release parties are on. This time I'm definately dressing up! Myabe as Lily.. seeing as I've got the hair sorted! Tongue

A friend and I went to the release party for Goblet of Fire, and we were the only teenagers there besides the staff. And most of the kids had glasses, or a "scar", or a wand, where we both had robes, she hat a hat and broom, and I had a Hogwarts textbook. (I forget which one...)

I'm probably going to wear my Hufflepuff seeker's robe that I'm working on to both the movie and the book release, and probably a lot of my swap goodies will come with me, too. Grin

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!

I was waiting to post pictures of the stuff Irish_Belle gave me until she got my package, but it looks like that might now happen.  Cry  She hasn't gotten it in the mail yet.  I sent the picture of the receipt to Dom and Irish_Belle.  I just wish she would have gotten my package.  The FedEx track number say it'll get there Friday, but I don't know why when it was supposed to send awhile ago.  I worked pretty hard, too.

Anyway, I'm in class right now, but I'll try to post pictures later tonight or tomorrow of what Irish_Belle made me.

She made me a wizards cracker, a letter from Hogwarts about the Yule Ball, coasters for the four different houses, and a cookbook by Mrs Weasley.  The wizards cracker had little record earrings that are supposed to be albums of the Weird Sisters, candy, a joke.  Also, she gave me jelly beans to be Bertie Botts every flavor beans.  The cookbook was really great because I cook all the time!  That was my favorite.  Thanks, Irish_Belle, and sorry about all the mess on my end with the post.

I recieved Emergency_Exit's package today! Its amazing and it puts my package in the dark!
I'll post pics of what I sent her, and I might be able to get pics of what she sent me up soon.

I sent her:
*Bertie Bots beans.. but they weren't the actual Hasbro branded ones, they were all nice flavours! ^_^
*Cadbury's Elves candy bars... there were orginally three, but my little brother stole one!
*Record disk earrings - a minature version of a Wierd Sisters record! Tongue
*Lightening bolt necklace.. I think we all know what that represents (I had the earrings and this in a christmas cracker.)
*4 coasters, representing the four houses
*Mrs Weasley's cookbook, with recipes inspired by various characters in the book. I'm glad to hear Emergency Exit likes to cook, because theres plenty of space for her to make her own additions!
*Candy canes, a letter from Professor McGongall concerning the Yule Ball, an handpainted Xmas card - Not HP related.
And I wrapped everything in Christmas paper.

No, I absolutely loved your package.  I cook and bake all the time.  I got a Kitchen Aid for Christmas.  So I can always use new recipes.  I'm glad you got up pictures of your stuff.  I can post pictures of things inside the Wizard's Cracker.  I've just been super busy with university.  You did such a lovely job with the wrapping and everything.  Also, I love jelly beans so it's okay that they aren't grass and pepper and sardine flavored.   Cheesy

I'm really, really glad you got my package.  I was going to be bummed out if FedEx lost your package.  That means that my other package for the Fairytale Swap should get there soon.  And then my feedback will switch to positive!  If you can't get up pictures of what I sent, I can always post pictures of what I sent you, too.

Yay! I'm so glad. Its a real pity you had to send via FedEx.. that must have cost you a pretty penny!
I adore the shawl, I hope to wear it for the release of the book!
And I'm so happy you like cooking too! Hope you try out some of the recipes, I've tried and tested most of them! Cheesy
Turns out I can't eat the cockroach clusters, as they have gelatine, I probably wouldn't anyway, I hate cockroaches! But my lil bro has already been so kind as to offer to eat them for me!
