Woo-hoo!  This is the first project I made that i'm posting.  I think it came out ok, but I've since heard words of stenciling wisdom will make my next project look better.  Incidentally, does anyone have any tips for stenciling white on dark fabric?  I'd like to do this design again but get the paint more even and stuff.

Does anyone else watch Bogart movies anymore?  If so, what's your favorite?

That is one suh-weeeeet shirt!  Humphrey Bogart was such a cool actor.  My favorite Bogey movie would definitely have to be Casablanca, but I also liked him in The Big Sleep and Sabrina.  Nice job!

PS - the belt you're wearing in the pic looks so rad...didja make that yourself?

I love your stencil!  My favorite Bogie movie is either The Big Sleep or Casablanca.  They're so different, it's hard to choose which one I like better, although I think Marlowe is a (slightly) sexier character than Rick Blaine.

Let's hear it for Marlowe!!! Have you seen _Murder, My Sweet_ with Dick Powell as Marlowe?  He's not as cool as Bogie, but then, who is.

Cinerobot - I did make the belt.  It's posted, too.

I can't see the pic!  Wah!  Count me in on the Bogart love.  I just watched Maltese Falcon last night, in fact, and a couple of nights ago we watched They Drive By Night (TCM had a Bogart day and we fired up the TIVO).  I don't know if I could pick my favorite, because I think he's so great even when the movie around him is iffy (like They Drive By Night).

I love Casablanca, of course, the whole movie is perfect from beginning to end.  I also love To Have and Have Not and though he's not playing the suave type and the character is quite different, I love him in High Sierra.  It's been way too long since I've seen The Big Sleep...gotta go put that on my Netflix queue...

That came out great.  The white on black completely goes with his noir-ish screen persona.  Very cool.

That's an awesome shirt. I've seen most of his movies, but I like the Maltese Falcon the best.
