Thanks everyone! According to a message board, they should be able to cut cds/dvds and thinner 45s - but it's recommended to 'soften' them up with hot water first to reduce cracking. Hopefully, I will be able to attempt this soon and have more pictures to share!

I found an old hanging spice rack at a yard sale and it was exactly what I needed to store my paints in my craft room. I painted it and recycled it!
