Okay, lets see if i got this right. I saw this toilet roll race car while working in an other afternoon club and i decided to make slightly different version for my own work place.
Children can of course make their own versions too as can be seen in the pictures. After i made my model i decided that i was not happy with it so i recrafted it in to an sort of End of the world road warrior or something like that.
Everything except drivers head and grill sticks is recycling material.
If i understood the rules properly, i must make 10 posts like this before i can put pictures here?

I've been on a craft recycling binge.  I have been using up my stash, or shopping at the thrift store to make gifts for this holiday season.

My brother in law is a major Michigan Spartans fan.  I saw a bunch of threads of people using magazines and shredding them up for art, so that is what I did.  I cut out a bunch of pages that had green on them from magazines, put them through the paper shredder and then spent an hour or so gluing them down to card stock.  Printed a pic of the spartan helmet and cut it out, then mounted it on white paper.  My 9 year old DD helped me glue and mount the pic.

The whole shebang....

Closeup so you can see the magazine shreds.

C & C welcome!

I upcycled a thrift store cotton sweater into a fashionable cowl with a little frogging and a little knitting.

My candle burns at both ends, it will not last the night.  But oh, my friends, and oh, my foes, it gives a lovely light.
