I made up this pattern for a Felted Baby Yoda Hat.  It was a spur-of-the-moment fluke that turned out to be totally awesome, so I wrote down what I did so I could share it with THE WORLD!!

Felted Baby Yoda Hat

The pattern was inspired by my Dad.  After knitting a Baby Yoda Sweater for my new little brother, he suggested I make a Yoda hat for him, for a Halloween costume.  Unfortunately, I didn't finish it in time, but I'm sure the effort will be appreciated... Roll Eyes

If you knit this, show me a picture, I'd LOVE to see it!!

ETA:  The pattern also has a short tutorial on stiffening the ears to avoid flopping!

I knitted a Yoda hat for my baby for Halloween.  It didn't work out so hot, though, and the ears flopped down the whole time.  Felting, though, is about the best ever idea.  Nice work!

Love it!!  Thanks for the pattern.  I'll have to keep this in my "make this someday when I have kids" folder. Smiley

Aww, I know it would be cool to see a picture, unfortunately, I have no babies to photograph.  Undecided  perhaps this week I will borrow a neighbor's baby for a little modeling session???

We could learn a lot from crayons. Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

It's things like this that make me wish my sister would hurry up and get married so I'd have neices and nephews to knit for.
