I don't know much about tarot. I really just thought the art was interesting and I'd give the deck to a friend. Anything I should know?

I figured I'd just draw each of the cards in my own style (as crappy or glorified as that may be) and print out the scanned version to color.

I finished drawing the Fool.

I'm really, really ashamed of the dog, =) but I can't draw animals very well.

I'm interested!

Are there any guidelines, deadlines, etc.?

Ma rut

no guidelines, deadlines or any other kind of lines, I am beginning to suspect that the tarot is messing with us as I thought I'd have loads done by now, I'm still on 0!

So if you get any done please post and inspire us!

I've been studying up more on the symbolism of some of my favorite cards and will hopefully get the line work down this week. I hope everyone is still excited about this as much as I am! Cheesy

How are you guys doing? Anything you can show yet?

I have NOTHING. How screwy. Every time I sit down to do something on this I get nowhere.  Huh
Maybe we should just jump straight to the cups court, edel? Or do a Tarot reading each to pick the card we'll create? (heh)

I know! this is driving me nuts but I am going to do one card today. something seems to get in the way every time!

Maybe we should pull cards for each other to do, set a deadline too if that helps. I know that deadlines really help me

yay!! I did it I started, did the page of cups and the ace of cups. woo hoo! and now I really get that page card, I consulted my own notes and lots of books and now I really 'have' it

of course what I dont have is my camera and I've scanned them in but cant persuade the scanner to talk to any program that would allow me to post the images here, So if I just wave them at the computer screen and you look really closely you might be able to see them??

no?

OK I'll have to find my camera

I'm so getting in on this! I've been wanting to make my own deck for ages!

I think specific deadlines and/or cards to do would be really helpful, too. Maybe you could give 5 cards per month and we could choose which one(s) we wanted to do? Hopefully that would help motivate us.
