My dear hubby is so cute.  He watches me squirrell away with yarn for hours on end making things for everyone but us.  Once, a few years ago when he was just my boyfriend, I made him a blanket.  He was so thrilled to have his own crocheted item.  It was cute to watch him drag it around the house from couch to bed and back to couch.  

Since we just moved to colder city I thought that this year I'd make him a beanie!  I had a hank of Noro Kureopatora (they don't make it anymore... kinda a precursor to their Kureyon line) to play with so I did it.  I actually made him a birthday beanie!

if you ever want to make a matching scarf there's some noro silk garden in those colors.- i crocheted my boyfriend a scarf to match that!  the colors are perfect for a guy.
