Great costume! I love the handlebar mustache type. Maybe next year she should go as an "evil villian" mustache! You know, the skinny kind that gets twirled when the villian is up to no good! Cheesy

i don't even know where to begin. i mean, did you see her with the other kids? her moustache-awesomemess glowing next to perfectly-adequate-but-totally-cliche halloween costumes? i love you, i love your daughter, i love the costume. what does she want to be when she grows up? and what will next year's costume be? an eyebrow? and where does a 6yo even see a handlebar mustache to dress up as? did she consider just WEARING a mustache, or was she dead set on BEING the mustache? tell me everything! i'm freaking bookmarking this post so i can study how to be half as cool as your offspring.

wow.  i'm impressed.  i thought i was being really original when i painted on a mustache last year.  Halloween is a liminal time, it should be represented in costumes that blur the lines.
Kudos to you, Katjia, for the most creative, original costume I've seen in a long while.  And I looooove the pic of you with all the witches and princesses, you are an inspiration.  And reading all the posts left here made my day.  Moustaches really bring out the goofy side of crafters, huh?

Oh man. That kid cracks me up. I love that idea so much. And when I love something on here I show my fella and guess what. This saturday we're going to a monster mash, and he wants to be a moustache...

See what this has started!!
