i have this sheet i picked up on a run to the thrift store, it's white with cute little dino's on it.  I was orginally planning on making a rounded tote like bag, but then my dad commented that it might end up looking like a dipaer bag!! now i'm terrifeid to do anything with it! so what do you think? i may make a clothing item  out of it if i think of a good idea, but i just don't want to waste it!  (if you would like pictures of the print i'll add one)

Thanks!

There are some dresses on here made out of sheets. Here's a tutorial, even. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=118888.0
I've made pj pants and skirts. A shirt would be really cute too. I say do what ever you want, no matter what your dad says!
In theory, since you have so much fabric (assuming it's not a crib sheet or something like that) you could re-make the bag if you're not happy with it. Huzzah for thrift store sheets!

Perhaps a denim bag with the sheet as lining. Line the shoulder strap too and perhaps decorate the pockets or the rest of the bag with the sheet fabric also. You would still have plenty left over for other projects like a skirt or a dress...

I kinda agree with Dad and the diaper bag theory. The fabric is probably really cute but what you do with it is important in how it comes out. Don't want you to feel paranoid now or anything...  Wink
